Carolyn Bourdeaux Launches Small Business Advisory Council
Bourdeaux rolls out her detailed plan to support small businesses and announces coalition of Georgia small business owner backers
SUWANEE, GA — Today, Carolyn Bourdeaux, Democratic nominee for Georgia's 7th Congressional District, launched her small business advisory council backing her campaign and rolled out her plan to support and invest in small businesses in Georgia.
The "Small Businesses for Carolyn" advisory council launched today includes small businesses representing a wide range of industries, including restaurants, barbershops, law firms, and more to share their priorities during the economic challenges ahead.
In addition to assembling her small business advisory council, Bourdeaux today released her detailed plan to support small businesses across Georgia's 7th District. The plan includes focusing on the recovery of Main Street businesses, investing in infrastructure initiatives, cutting red tape and unnecessary regulations, and attracting and retaining a skilled workforce. Bourdeaux knows how to get Georgians through an economic crisis — as Senate Budget Director in Georgia during the Great Recession, she worked with both parties to get our economy back on track. "I know how to lead our state through a crisis and get our economy back on track — I've done it before," said Carolyn Bourdeaux. "This pandemic is the greatest challenge the small business community has ever faced, made worse by politicians who failed to get this deadly virus under control. The people who got us into this mess won't be the ones to get us out of it — yet Rich McCormick has backed these leadership failures every step of the way. I'll be a champion in Congress for our small business community."
Carolyn Bourdeaux's small business advisory council includes:
Allison Saunders, Qualitative Research LLC
Austin Thompson, Thompson Management Consulting, LLC
David Woodbery, The Woodbery Group LLC
Dee Roodehchi, Wall to Wall Floorcovering
Dominique Nero, The Winning Body Studio
Jason Park, Jason Park Law, LLC
Kiana Dancie, CPR Cell Phone Repair
Kristin Allin, Bread & Butterfly
Liz Bigler, Bigler ESL
Mary Blackmon Campbell, Kid to Kid Buford
Mary Warren, Cristomar Fine Rug Cleaning and Repair
Nancy Wallace, Wallace Gardens, LLC
Pamela Martinez, Moe Betta Barbershop
Rita Wuebbeler, Interglobe Cross-Cultural Business Services, Inc.
Bourdeaux's campaign continues to build strength and momentum, earning wide support from Georgia leaders and grassroots organizations from across the district and the state. In addition to earning the endorsements of high-profile leaders like President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, Bourdeaux has also recently launched coalitions of backers like Educators for Carolyn, union and labor endorsers, and Doctors & Nurses for Carolyn.
